He makes a crucial point: Always start with Why and then work to what and how. It's an adage as old as time and one we never seem to remember.

For sure, always worth repeating. Some of the detailed stories that David shared were great examples of how to do it effectively -- what questions to ask, how to ask, how to think about how data supports it, etc.
