How Can You Improve Your Skills in Creating Interactive Dashboards?
Study. Practice. Listen. Reflect. Repeat.
Study. Practice. Listen. Reflect. Repeat.
By "study," I mean study the art of storytelling and communication. Read books like The Big Picture by Steve Wexler, The Art of War by Steven Pressfield, and Resonate by Nancy Duarte. These books are about creativity and storytelling.
By "practice," keep playing. Skill improvement is about reps and practice. You can't develop skills by reading a book.
By "listen," I mean pay attention to what confuses your audience. Listen with empathy.
By "reflect," be brave and honest enough with yourself to accept that the dashboard you made might stink. Ask yourself: "How can I do better?"
When you're done, start over :) 🔁
